Qualifications: Minimum, bachelor’s degree in geology, engineering and/or related fields. Twelve months experience required.
Duties: Conduct surface and sub-surface surveys to identify the characteristics of potential land development sites. Review and specify ground support systems, processes and equipment for safe, economical, and environmentally sound construction activities. Conduct surveys and analysis of stones and minerals such as granite and marble for their safe application to commercial buildings and private residences. Inspect areas for unsafe geological conditions, equipment, and working conditions. Design, implement, and coordinate worker safety programs related to heavy stone and equipment. Resume required. Job located in Loudoun County, VA. 40 hr/wk, hours 9am – 5pm.
